On the 13th of February 2025, at Natest Primary School , Lady of Purpose (Janice Chetty), accompanied by two guest speakers hosted JSbu from East Coast Radio and Luyanda Taboshe from Ballistic Evolution. The event was aimed at motivating and inspiring Grade 7 learners. Organized in collaboration with [Mirriam Mission], the event sought to encourage students to believe in their potential and strive for success in their academic and personal lives. The day was filled with engaging activities, motivational talks, and special surprises that left a lasting impact on both learners and organizers.
The event kicked off with an energetic welcome from the school acting principal , Mr Rodney Naidoo who emphasized the importance of education and perseverance. Following this, a keynote address was delivered by Janice Chetty who spoke about the power of the mind and getting your mindset right to achieve success .Thereafter followed by Jsbu and Luyanda accomplished individuals who shared their journey of overcoming challenges to achieve success. Their powerful story resonated with the young audience, inspiring them to dream big and work hard.
Learners then participated in interactive games designed to enhance their confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. These sessions, led by experienced mentors, included hands-on activities, role-playing exercises, and discussions about goal setting and self-motivation. The kids won prizes which was sponsored by Dynamic Outlook (Pty) Ltd.
The event proved to be a transformative experience for the learners, many of whom expressed their gratitude and excitement about their futures. Teachers and organizers observed a renewed sense of enthusiasm and confidence among the students, reinforcing the importance of community-driven initiatives in shaping young minds.
As the event concluded, learners were encouraged to set personal goals and share their aspirations with their peers and mentors. The day ended on a high note with cheers, laughter, and a shared commitment to growth and perseverance.
